Schubert, Arno L.
SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Arno L. Schubert, 80, formerly of Sedgewickville, died Friday, May 24, 2002, at Perry County Nursing Home.
He was born Oct. 2, 1921, in Perry County, Mo., son of Otto and Lena Rohde Schubert. He and Lydia C. Bohnert were married April 10, 1948.
Schubert was a retired mechanic at Prost Implement in Perryville, Mo. He was a member and past elder at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Tim Schubert of Sedgewickville; a brother, Harold Schubert of Perryville; a sister, Ruby Schubert of Perryville; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by two sons.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and Sunday from 8 to 11:30 a.m.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Revs. Matthew Marks and Craig Otto officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with military graveside service by the American Legion.
