Schubert, Lydia C. (nee Bohnert)

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Lydia C. Schubert, 94, of Perryville died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at her home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Thomas Handrick officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A funeral will be held Monday, February 11, 2013 for 94-year-old Lydia C. Schubert of Perryville who died February 7, 2013 at her residence.

She was born April 16, 1918 in Longtown, the daughter of Bernard and Christine (Hemmann) Bohnert.

She married Arno Schubert on April 10, 1948. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2002.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Tim and Linda Schubert of Perryville; four grandchildren: Christopher, Jennifer, Aaron and Heather Schubert; and a great-granddaughter, Kalena Schubert.

She was also preceded in death by two sons: Mark and Daniel; three brothers: Rudolph, Jack and Martin Bohnert; and four sisters: Rose Meyer, Marie Bohnert, Elvira Bohnert and Flora Bohnert.

She had been a home maker. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and LWML.

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church.

A funeral for 94-year-old Lydia C. Schubert of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 with the Rev. Thomas Handrick officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran School.
