PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Wilma L. Schuessler, 87, of Perryville died Jan. 27, 2005, at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 15, 1917, at Uniontown, Mo., daughter of Arthur and Agnes Telle Kasten. She and Edmund H. "Red" Schuessler were married May 3, 1941. He died July 16, 1996...

A funeral will be held Saturday, January 29th, 2005 for 87-year-old Wilma L. Schuessler of Perryville, who died Thursday, January 27th at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born October 15th, 1917 in Uniontown, the daughter of Arthur and Agnes (Telle) Kasten, who both preceded her in death.

She married Edmund H. "Red" Schuessler on May 3rd, 1941. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two daughters and sons in law, Katherine and Paul Renner of Uniontown and Marjorie and Mark Kinnison of Perryville; a brother, Elmer Kasten of Kennewick, Washington; two sisters in law, Elda Fritsche of Perryville and Anita Cornehlsen of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Robynne and her husband, Scott, Duvall; Jason and his wife, Angie, Kinnison and Brandyn Hart; and five great grandchildren, Chelsea, Coby, Taylor, Kirsten and Dalton.

Four brothers, Theophil, Herbert, Erwin and Walter Kasten, also preceded her in death.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bereans Bible Class, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and AmVets Auxiliary.

She was baptized October 21st, 1917; confirmed on April 26th, 1931 and her confirmation verse was Matthew 6:33.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. this (Friday, January 28th) afternoon and evening and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 29th at the Young and Sson Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 87-year-old Wilma L. Schuessler of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 29th at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Christopher Cole will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Southeast Hospice, Immanuel Radio broadcast or the Perryville Community Center.
