Veda E. Scott of Perryville died October 29, 2009 at Independence Care Center of Perry County. She was 91.
She was born in Cascade, MO on January 14, 1918 daughter of J.N. and Ada Mae (Boyles) Myers. She was married on July 17, 1942 to Arthur N. Scott who preceded her in death on December 8, 1988.
Survivors include two sisters; Ruth Myers of Perryville, Wanda Bollinger of Ste. Genevieve, four brothers; Carl Myers of Overland, MO, Charles Myers of Colorado Springs, CO, Raymond Myers of Perryville, Rev. Wayne Myers of Merritt Island, FL, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Scott was a retired seamstress for the Pixie Playmates Factory. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 133 Auxiliary in Perryville, MO
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, stepson; Arthur Scott Jr., four sisters and two brothers.
Memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Southeast Hospice.
Private burial will be in the Bloomfield Veterans Cemetery, Bloomfield, MO.
