Seabaugh, J. B.

J.B. Seabaugh, 85, of Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Jackson, died Sunday, July 4, 2010, at his home.

He was born Sept. 22, 1924, in Cape Girardeau to J.O. and Sally Caroline Green Seabaugh. He and Odetta Mouser were married April 3, 1976.

J.B. served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, stationed in San Diego.

He was a truck driver for Jackson Lumber Co. and Pocahontas Lumber Co. in Jackson. He was a former member of New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson and was currently a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Chattanooga.

Survivors include his wife, Odetta of Chattanooga; a son, Randy (Tammy) Cobble of Liberty City, Texas; a daughter, Donna (Alan) Seabaugh of Chattanooga; a brother, Jerry (Phyllis) Seabaugh of Jackson; four grandchildren, Chad (Becky) Seabaugh of Lexington, Ky., Kristen (Greg) Featsent of Cumming, Ga., Ceason Jones and Lyndon Cobble of Liberty City; three great-grandchildren, Brandon and Tyler Seabaugh and Chase Featsent.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Otto, Bill and Eugene; two sisters, Hazel and Maxine.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Corbin officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery, with full military honors.

J.B. Seabaugh, 85, of Chattanooga, formerly of Jackson, Mo. died Sunday, July 4, 2010, at his home in Chattanooga.

He was born Sept. 22, 1924 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. to J. O. and Sally Caroline Green Seabaugh. He was married to Odetta Mouser April 3, 1976.
