Seabaugh, Kenneth Earl

Kenneth Earl Seabaugh, 71, of Jackson died Friday, June 29, 2007, at his home.

He was born Jan. 14, 1936, at Sedgewickville, Mo., son of Earl Linder and Sidonia Ruth Bangert Seabaugh. He and Elwanda M. Stroder were married Nov. 4, 1955.

Seabaugh was a 1953 graduate of Jackson High School. He had owned and operated Seabaugh Construction and Jackson Excavating since 1962.

He was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church, American International Charolais Association, and Jackson Chamber of Commerce. He was an avid hunter.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Connie (David) Sides and Shelia (Phil) Hager of Jackson, Cathy Seabaugh (Becky Frey) of Chicago; a sister, Verna Jean Boyd of Jackson; four grandchildren, Ryan Sides, Jeff (Leslie) Hager, Erin Sides and Megan Hager; and a great-grandson, Blake Cayden Hager.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
