Seabaugh, Lonnie Perry

Lonnie Perry Seabaugh, 70, of Oak Ridge died Saturday, May 29, 2010, at his home near Oak Ridge.

He was born Aug. 14, 1939, in Sedgewickville, Mo., a son to Marvin Lewis and Lettie Erma Green Seabaugh. He and Roberta M. Cook were married Sept. 14, 1962, at Third Street United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Lonnie graduated from Patton High School in 1957. After graduating he joined the Missouri Army National Guard.

He was a route driver for Wetterau Foods serving middle and southern Illinois, retiring in 1995.

Lonnie was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church in Daisy since 1969. He was chairman of the board of the church, served as Sunday school superintendant and was a member of the church choir. He also was a member of Excelsior Lodge 441 AF&AM of Jackson.

Upon retirement Lonnie and Roberta enjoyed touring the U.S. with Lonnie's Patton High School class of '57 and with friends Bill and Jackie.

Lonnie was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and enjoyed bowling, deer hunting and farming.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta, of Oak Ridge; three sons, Greg and daughter-in-law Paula Seabaugh of Perryville, Mo., Tim and daughter-in-law Beth Seabaugh of Daisy and Brian and daughter-in-law Tina Seabaugh of Oak Ridge; two brothers, Ardell (Helen) Seabaugh of Jackson and Norman (Wilma) Seabaugh of Millersville; and nine grandchildren, Brandon, Tanner, Paige, Katie, Bailey, Samantha, Jacob, Jarett and Katie.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson, with a Masonic service at 7:45 p.m., and from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday at New Salem United Methodist Church in Daisy.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Douglas McClellan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to New Salem Cemetery Fund.
