Seabaugh, Vera (nee Bollinger)

A funeral service for Vera Seabaugh of Sedgewickville, Mo., and a memorial service for her grandson, Stacey Wayne Stone of Bruceton Mills, W.Va., will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. The Rev. Donny Ford will officiate. Interment will be in Pulliam Cemetery in Mayfield, Mo.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Vera, 96, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.

Stacey, 44, formerly of Cape Girardeau, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012, at his home.

Vera was born March 28, 1917, at Mayfield, daughter of David William and Edith Elizabeth Seabaugh Bollinger. She and Floyd H. Seabaugh were married Aug. 17, 1935. He preceded her in death April 19, 1987.

She was a member of Little Whitewater Baptist Church in Mayfield. She had worked at the former Koch Plastic Co. in Jackson, which later became Lenco Co. She retired in 1983. Vera also volunteered as a cook at Camp Cannon, a church camp for children.

Loving survivors include a son, Donald Ray Seabaugh of Sedgewickville; a daughter, Robin Jo (Bernie) Larry of Clarksburg, W.Va.; a grandson, Joe Stone of Bruceton Mills; and three great-grandchildren, Sarah Jo, Carly and Jessie.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Stacey Wayne Stone; a brother, John Bollinger; and a sister, Grace Killian.

Stacey was born in Cape Girardeau to the late Larry Wayne Stone and Robin Jo Seabaugh Larry.

At the time of his passing, he was survived by his mother and stepfather, Robin Jo and Bernie Larry; a brother, Joseph Henry Stone of Bruceton Mills; maternal grandmother, Vera Seabaugh; an uncle, Donald Ray Seabaugh; and three nieces, Sarah Jo, Carly and Jessie.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Little Whitewater Baptist Church or Pulliam Cemetery.
