Seabaugh, Zita (nee James)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Zita Seabaugh, 93, of Perryville died Wednesday, June 28, 2007, at Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born April 18, 1914, at Perryville, daughter of Floyd E. and Nada Statler James. She and Oscar L. Seabaugh were married April 22, 1933. He died June 27, 1991.
Seabaugh retired as a clerk from Roziers. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Gerald Seabaugh of Perryville; a brother, Lonnie James of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; a sister, Lola Bennett of Ste. Genevieve; three granddaughters; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 6:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Dr. Sharon Howard officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.

A funeral will be held Saturday, June 30th, 2007 for 93-year-old Zita Seabaugh of Perryville, who died today (Thursday, June 28th, 2007) at the Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born April 18th, 1914 in Perryville, the daughter of Floyd and Nada (Statler) James. They preceded her in death.
She married Oscar Seabaugh April 22nd, 1953. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Gerald and Aggie Seabaugh of Perryville; a brother and sister, Lonnie James and Lola Bennett, both of Ste. Genevieve; three granddaughters and their husbands, Cheryl and Keith Paraside of Imperial, Carol and Rick Kussman of Fenton, Stacey and Chris Snyder, also of Fenton; eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Becker.
She was a retired retail clerk, employed by Rozier’s.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Eastern Star.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Friday, June 29th, and from 6:30-10 a.m. Saturday, June 30th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.
A funeral for 93-year-old Zita Seabaugh of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30th, 2007 at the Young and Sons Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Sharon Howard will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Home Cemetery.
