Sebastian, Hubert T.
Hubert T. Sebastian, 85, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2003, at the Missouri Veterans' Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born December 11, 1917, in Cape Girardeau County, son of Henry W. and Rosa Birk Sebastian. He and Lillian M. Welker were married April 15, 1949 in Tilsit, Mo. She passed away March 5, 1989.
Loving survivors are two sons, Kelvin Sebastian of Bethlehem, Israel, and Keith Sebastian of Jackson, Mo.; two grandchildren; and a sister, Rosina Poe of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army serving World War II, and was honorably discharged.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tilsit.
Friends may call Tuesday, September 30th, between 5-8 PM, at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, and Wednesday, October 1st, after 9:30 AM, at Immanuel Church in Tilsit. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, October 1st, at 10:30 AM, at the Church, with Rev. Mark Boettcher officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
