Seiler, Richard L. "Rick"
Richard L. “Rick” Seiler, age 57, of Oak Ridge passed away Saturday, October 27, 2012 at his son’s home in Jackson.
He was born November 10, 1954, in St. Louis, MO, son of Leonard and Betty Stovall Seiler.
Rick was a ranch hand for most of his life, most recently in Montana. He enjoyed working with horses, mules, and livestock. He loved spending time with his family, and doted on his grandchildren; fishing with his grandchildren being one of his favorite past-times. Although Rick had grandchildren of his own, many others called him “Papa”.
Loving survivors include two daughters, Angel (David) Engelen of Whitewater, MO, Bonnie Seiler of Patton, MO; a son, Tony (Sherri) Brethold of Jackson; his mother, Betty Ford of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Lenny (Jeannie) Seiler of Friedheim, MO, Benny (Diana Koehler) Seiler of Oak Ridge; a sister, JoAnn Dallas of Jackson, nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, two sisters, Mary Dell Seiler and Carol Riley.
Friends may call Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from 4-8 PM at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral service will be Thursday, at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home with the Pastor Mike Huffman officiating.
