Sharney, Neta L. (nee Hahs)
Neta L. Sharney, 75, of High Ridge, Mo., died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009, at her home.
She was born Sept. 11, 1933, in Oak Ridge, daughter of Hubert F. and Daisy M. Brotherton Hahs. She married Sol Sharney, who died in 2001.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Notter and Kathy Schrick of St. Louis; a son, Jerry Sharney of St. Louis; a brother, Don Hahs of Jackson; a sister, Letha Shook of House Springs, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held Feb. 18 at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Maplewood, Mo. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
