Shuh, Lucille J. (nee Kreitler)
A funeral will be held Friday, April 5th, 2002 for 77-year-old Lucille J. Shuh of Ste. Genevieve who died Tuesday, April 2nd at Riverview Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Thursday, May 22nd, 1924 in River aux Vases, the daughter of Daniel Kreitler and Lucille (Fristch) Kreitler who both preceded her in death.
She married Raymond V. Shuh on May 24, 1942. He survives in Ste. Genevieve.
She is also survived by three sons and daughters in law: Robert and Delores Shuh, Larry and Pat Shuh and Raymond and Cindy Shuh, all of Ste. Genevieve.
Five daughters and three sons in law survive: Betty Strelec of Sarasota, Florida; Linda and Ron Weiler of Weingarten; Donna and Alan Beste of Bonne, Iowa; Lisa Shuh of St. Louis and Carol and Mike Ahrens of Louisville, Kentucky.
Two brothers survive: Francis Kreitler and Ray Kreitler, both of Zell.
Three sisters and two brothers in law survive: Helen Flieg and Hildegard and Aloysius Flieg, all of Zell and Delores and Vernon Karl of Weingarten.
Twenty-one grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Flieg.
She was a Past Second Vice President of the American Legion Auxiliary, Past Flag Bearer of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and a member of the Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Visitation will be at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve from 3-8 p.m. Thursday, April 4th.
A funeral for 77-year-old Lucille J. Shuh of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery. The Rev. John Deken will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in St. Louis.
