Sides, Esco R.
Esco R. Sides, 89, Pacific, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2007.
Mr. Sides was born April 27, 1918, in Neelys Landing, the son of Arthur Sides and wife Nellie, nee Abernathy.
He was united in marriage to Dorothy McLain on May 28, 1938, in Union.
Mr. Sides served his country in the U.S. Navy in World War II.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy, nee McLain; one daughter, Sandra Canida, Pacific; one son, Daniel Sides and wife Georgia, Wildwood; one brother, Arnold Sides and wife Violet; five grandchildren, Kimberly Peery and husband James, Frank Canida, Kitren Schnakenberg and husband Eric, Justin and Matthew Sides; five great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 16, at Bell Funeral Home, Pacific. The Rev. Earlwood Towne officiated.
Interment with full military honors was June 18 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
Memorials to the American Heart Association are preferred.
The family was served by Bell Funeral Home, Pacific.
