Sitzes, Delores Catherine (nee Murphy)
Delores Catherine Sitzes, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at her home.
She was born Aug. 27, 1924, in Chicago to Henry and Mary Ramangano Murphy. She and Fred B. Sitzes were married Jan. 28, 1950, at Chicago. He passed away Dec. 13, 2007.
She was of the Catholic faith. She and her husband moved to Cape Girardeau in 1983 from Chicago.
Survivors include a son, Robert Decker of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Sandy Hovis of Advance, Mo., and Patti Lynn Norman of Monument, Colo.; a brother, Ronald Mink of Chicago; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
Private graveside services will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo., with the Rev. Jamie Hovis officiating.
Memorials can be made to the Stoddard County Children's Home.
