Slinkard, Norman D.
Norman D. Slinkard, 82, of Delta died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at Heartland Care Rehab Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 13, 1921, in Cape Girardeau County, son of David Guy and Ollie Lillian McClain Slinkard.
Slinkard was a retired self-employed farmer, and a retired construction worker. He was a member of Allenville Baptist Church in Allenville.
Survivors include four sisters, Gladys Bond of Shell Knob, Mo., Novella Howell of Chaffee, Mo., Patsy Statler and Jane Klaus of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee from 11 a.m. until time of service.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. David Butler officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
