Smith, Carolyn J. (nee LaRose)
Funeral service will be held Monday, July 17, 2000 for 55-year-old Carolyn Smith, formerly of Perryville, who died Friday, July 14, 2000 at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born on June 21, 1945 in Perry County, the daughter of Emanuel Joseph and Canzada (Hand) LaRose.
She was married to Curtis V. Smith. He preceded her in death.
One brother and four sisters survive: Donald LaRose of Perryville; Joyce Taylor of Lithium; Earlene Bohnert of Perryville; Lucille Miller of St. Louis; and Bonnie Roth of Perryville.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Bernice Cloan, Imogene LaRose and Christine Lalumondiere; and three brothers, Willard, Alvin and Gerald LaRose.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 16, 2000 from 4-9 p.m. and on Monday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral service for Carolyn J. Smith will be held Monday, July 17, 2000 at 10 a.m. at Young and Sons Chapel. Burial will be in the Cedar Ford Cemetery.
Memorial preference is to the American Cancer Society.
