Staggs, Kenneth G.
A funeral will be held Monday, June 9th, 2008 for 62-year-old Kenneth G. Staggs of Perryville, who died Wednesday, June 4th at West Memphis, Arkansas.
He was born July 16th, 1945 in Perry County, the son of Hartwell M. and Aileen O. (Phillips) Staggs who both preceded him in death.
He married Sharon K. Holzum on October 11th, 1969. She survives in Perryville.
He is also survived by a daughter and son in law: Angela and Troy Monier of Discovery Bay, California; two sons: Scott and Keven Staggs, both of Perryville; a brother: Merlin Staggs of Warrenton; and five grandchildren: Mikayla, Megan, Lucas, Caleb and Adison.
He was also preceded in death by two sons: Kyle and Ryan.
He was the owner and operator of Staggs Trucking, a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, U.S. Army, Elks Lodge and American Legion.
Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Sunday, June 8th and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Monday, June 9th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A Catholic wake will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Perryville Elks will hold a wake at 7 p.m.
A funeral for 62-year-old Kenneth G. Staggs of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 9th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
