PATTON, Mo. -- Hobert Statler, 90, of Patton died Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, at his home. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Terry Douglas officiating. Burial will be in Post Oak Cemetery near Patton.

Hobert Statler, age 90, of Patton passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014 at his residence.
He was born June 5, 1924 in Patton, MO; son of Jefferson James and Sophie Barks Statler.
He and Stella "Clodine" Long were married Feb. 16, 1957, in Bollinger County and she passed away on January 15, 2006.
Statler was a lifelong member of Post Oak Congregational Methodist Church.
Survivors include sons Donald Statler of Marble Hill, MO, Terry Statler of Patton; daughters Wanda Hays and Rhonda Hancock of Patton; Sondra Hanners of Marble Hill; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Homes in Patton, MO; from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2014.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with the Rev. Terry Douglas officiating. Burial will be in Post Oak Cemetery near Patton.
