Funeral services for the Rev. Mildred Statler Sellers of Pine Island, Fla., formerly of the Sedgewickville area, were conducted at 10:30 am, Feb. 13, 1989 at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The Rev. Neil Stein, Rev. Howard Miller officaited and burial was in Memorial Park, Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Seller, 72, died at 12:30 a.m., Feb. 8, 1989 at her home. She was born Feb. 21, 1916 at Bourbon, Mo., a daughter of the Rev. Samuel and Amy Sites Bohnenkamp. On Oct. 9, 1935, she was married to the Rev. Coy Statler, who died Jan. 28, 1978. She was then married to Jeff Sellers on Nov. 19, 1982. He survives,

She and the Rev. Statler resided near Sedgewickville for a number of years and served United Methodist churches in various communities including Lowndes Circuit near Greenville, Mountain View, Birch Tree, Cardwell and Advance, retiring while serving a United Methodist Church in Van Buren.

Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Paul Statler of Columbia; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Alice Blaylock of Hannibal; three stepsons, Eugene Sellers of Camdenton, Fred Sellers of Orlando, Fla., and Donald Sellers of Pineland, Fla; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ruth Kulhanek of Camdenton; one brother, Henry Bohnenkamp of Desloge; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Fowler of Pocahontas, Mrs. Clara Raines of Farmington, and Mrs. Mae Summers of Birch Tree; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
