Statler, Phillip Nathanial
Phillip Nathanial Statler, age 40, of New London, MO; and formerly of Patton, MO; passed away on May 27, 2014 at his residence.
He was born December 12, 1973 in Cape Girardeau, MO; the son of Gene Arnold and Judith Ann Crites Statler.
Mr. Statler graduated in 1992 from Meadow Heights high School and then in 1999 from Southeast Missouri State University. He worked as an environmental geologist, enjoyed riding three wheelers, spelunking and spending time with friends and family. He was a member of the SEMO Spelunking Club.
Survivors include: his mother Judith Statler of New London; sister Elisabeth Menadue of Iowa; three nieces and two nephews, Gracie, Jack and Zane Danger of Perry, Iowa, Natalia Menadue of Gilbert, AZ; and Audrey McCartney Anderson of Atkins, Iowa.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be Friday, June 20, 2014 from 6:00 PM until time of service at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton, MO. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home in Patton, MO.
