Statler, Ruby H. (nee Masterson)
Ruby H. Statler, 96, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 4, 1913, in Jackson, daughter of Garnett and Rispa Ann Johnson Masterson. She and Ralph Statler were married July 25, 1931.
Ruby was an active member of First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, where she formerly taught Sunday school. She was employed by the former International Shoe Co. many years, retiring in 1978.
Loving survivors include a stepdaughter, Betty Hoffner of California; a sister, Maggie Holland of Cape Girardeau; and three stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters, a brother and a stepgrandchild.
There will be no service.
