Lorna G. Steffens, 82, of Frohna, Mo., died Oct. 6, 2012, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 6, 1930, in Frohna, daughter of Paul and Emma Richter Weber. She and Larry W. Steffens were married June 8, 1968. He survives in Frohna.

Mrs. Steffens was a sewing machine operator at International Shoe Factory and a cook at West End in Frohna. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, LWML and a Saxon Memorial volunteer. She liked bowling, fishing, camping, baking and canning.

Survivors include two daughters, two sons, two stepsons and one stepdaughter, Thomas (Gail) Clampitt of Frohna, Kathryn Osmus of Milwaukee, Terry (Connie) Clampitt of Marion, Ill., Sarah (Donnie) Stueve of Frohna, Randolph (Diane) Steffens of Barnhart, Mo., Cary Steffens of St. Louis and Bonnie (Clyde) Meyer of Arnold, Mo.; one sister and three brothers, Sylvia Meyer and Melvin (Rose) Weber of Perryville, Mo., Harlan (Janet) Weber of Jackson and Richard (Margaret) Weber of Perryville; one sister-in-law, Wilma Weber of Perryville; four brothers-in-law, Vernon (Betty) Steffens of Frohna, Clinton Steffens of Perryville, Kenneth (Lorna) Steffens of Frohna and Melbert (Sandy) Steffens of Fenton, Mo.; one sister-in-law; Geraldine Kaufman of Frohna; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one stepson, Tom Steffens; one grandson, Cory Osmus; one brother, Ruben Weber; four sisters, Meta Hoehn, Alice Leimbach, Evelyn Weber and Dorothy Weber; five brothers-in-law, Melvin Hoehn, Herbert Gerringer, Arnold Meyer, Ellis Leimbach and Frank Kaufman; and one sister-in-law, Vera (Norman) Noenig.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 6:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Concordia Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Rod Benkendorf officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Concordia Lutheran Church, Saxon Lutheran Memorial or United in Christ Lutheran School.

A funeral will be held Wednesday for 82-year-old Lorna G. Steffens of Frohna who died October 6, 2012 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 6, 1930 in Frohna, the daughter of Paul and Emma (Richter) Weber who both preceded her in death.

She married Larry W. Steffens on June 8, 1968. He survives in Frohna.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30-10 a.m. Wednesday at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna.
