Stortz, Edward C.
A funeral will be held Wednesday, June 13th, 2001 for 56-year-old Edward C. Stortz of Perryville, who died Saturday, June 9th at his home.
He was born September 18th, 1944 in Perryville, the son of Frederick Stortz and Irene Pingel Stortz. They both preceded him in death.
He is survived by five sons: Brad, David, Edward II and Brian Stortz, all of Perryville, and Rick Stortz of Jacksonville, FL.
Two daughters: Melissa A. Stortz of Perryville and Michelle Layton of Brewer.
Four brothers: Sonny Stortz of Sedgewickville, Bernard Stortz of Uniontown, Bill and Ronnie Stortz of Perryville.
Three sisters: Margie and Dorothy Miller of Perryville and Zita Kramer of St. Mary.
He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, June 12th and from 6:30-10 a.m. Wednesday, June 13th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 56-year-old Edward C. Stortz of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 13th at the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Kevin Fausz, C.M. will officiate.
Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
