Stortz, Melba L. (nee Morris)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Melba L. Stortz, 75, of Perryville died Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at her home. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 6:30 a.m. until time of service Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.

A funeral will be held Friday, October 31, 2014 for 75-year-old Melba L. Stortz of Perryville who died October 27, 2014 at her residence.
She was born June 3, 1939 in Annapolis, the daughter of F. and Minnie (Rutherford) Morris who both preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter, Larry (Rae) Stortz, Darrell (Ronna) Stortz and Rhonda (Rocky) Vernon, all of Perryville, Robert Grice of St. Charles; two brothers and two sisters: Donald Morris of Texas, Ronnie Morris of St. Louis, Sondra Hoelter of St. Louis and Carolyn Stewart of Poplar Bluff; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Debbie Stortz; four grandchildren; and three sisters.
Melba had been a home maker.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, October 30 and 6:30-10 a.m. Friday, October 31, 2014 at Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 75-year-old Melba L. Stortz of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 31, 2014. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery.
