Ora. V. Stotlar Dies at Age 61

Ora V. Stotlar, 61, of 636 South Dougherty St., died at 2:10 am today at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.  Death followed an illness of four months.

Born Sept. 15, 1904 in Van Buren, he was a son of Robert and Minnie Gaskill Stotlar.   He had been a resident of Wells County most of his life.  His marriage to the former Virginia Monroe took place in 1941 in Marion.

Mr. Stotlar had been employed 16 years at the Kresge Wearhouse at Baer Field.

Surviving are the wife; the father, who lives in Marion; five daughters, Mrs. James (Dorothy) Savio, Mrs. Charles (Virginia) Pearson, Mrs. William (Betty) Brenton, all of Fort Wayne, Mrs. James (Bonnie) Carr of Ohio City, O., and Mrs. Walter (Vera) Berning of Hoagland; one stepson, Jerry Graham of Monroe, Mich.; a half-brother, Orner Grover of Liberty Center, and 14 grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at the Thoma Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday with Rev. Albert Habgood officiating.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
