Streiler, Gary Joseph

Gary Joseph Streiler, 64, of Jackson went to his eternal heavenly home Wednesday, June 6, 2012. He passed away at home surrounded by his loving family after fighting a long battle with lung cancer.

Gary served in the U.S. Army from October 1970 until August 1972 as a small arms infantry expert and received national defense and good conduct medals. He acquired secret government clearance while stationed in Europe.

He was a member of Old St. Vincent Church and Jackson Knights of Columbus.

Gary, as he did throughout his whole life, gave the ultimate gift -- the gift of oneself to St. Louis University's Gift Body Donation Program.
