FARRAR, Mo. -- Helen W. Stueve, 92, of Farrar died Friday, March 27, 2015, at Independence Care Center of Perry County in Perryville, Missouri. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, with the Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery...

Helen W. Stueve, 92, of Farrar died March 27, 2015 at Independence Care Center of Perry County in Perryville, MO.
She was born August 26, 1922 in Cape Girardeau County, MO, daughter of Edward and Ida (Roth) Detjen. She and Hilmer J. Stueve were married on October 16, 1943. He preceded her in death on February 17, 2009.
Helen had been a homemaker. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, MO.
Survivors include one daughter, JoAnn (Gene) Zoellner of Frohna; four grandchildren, Michael (Jennifer) Zoellner of Farrar, Brenda (David) Stueve of Farrar, Daniel (Heather) Zoellner of Perryville, Dana (Stephen) Dobbelare of Perryville; 11 great-grandchildren, Matthew Stueve, Rachel Stueve (Spencer Bachmann), Jacob Stueve, Matt Schroeder, Anna Zoellner, Ethan Zoellner, Aaron Zoellner, Joseph Zoellner, Holden Dobbelare, Memphis Dobbelare, and Aubrie Dobbelare; and one sister-in-law, Irene Detjen of Oak Ridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister, Amanda Steffens; and one brother, Melvin Detjen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28 at Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and on Sunday, March 29 from 8:00 am until 12:15 pm. She will then be taken to Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar for service at 2:00 pm with Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating. Burial in church cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to Salem Lutheran Church or Saxony Lutheran High School
