Sutterer, Florence T. (nee Sutterer)
A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, December 3rd, 2005 for 88-year-old Florence T. Sutterer of Sereno, who died today (Thursday, December 1st, 2005) at the Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born February 26th, 1917 in Perryville, the daughter of Fred and Frances (Huber) Sutterer. They preceded her in death.
She married Elmer Sutterer November 5th, 1938. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters and sons in law, Carolyn and Robert Seabaugh, Janet and Ronald Huber, all of Cape Girardeau, Judith and James Pingel of Hillsboro; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Sutterer and a sister, Freida Brown.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, Ladies’ Sodality of Sereno and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Friday, December 2nd, and 6:30-9:20 a.m. Saturday, December 3rd at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. The Rosary will be recited Friday at 7 p.m. at the Chapel.
A funeral Mass for 88-year-old Florence T. Sutterer of Sereno will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 3rd, 2005 at the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno. The Rev. Francis Agnew will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
