A funeral will be held Thursday, December 16th, 2004 for 71-year-old Robert E. "Bob" Sutterer of Perryville, who died Saturday, December 11th at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born September 21st, 1933 in Perryville, the son of Carl and Lena (Mouser) Sutterer who both preceded him in death.

He married Carol Hoehn on May 14, 1966. She survives in Perryville.

Survivors also include: a son and daughter in law, Brad R. and Angela Sutterer of St. Louis; a daughter and son in law Julie A. and Kenneth Johnson of Perryville; and seven grandchildren, Phillip, Macy, Clare, Audrey, Isabella, Lena and Gabriel.

He was also preceded in death by a nephew, Gregg Dunlap.

He was the co-owner of Sutterer Oil and Service Station.

He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus, U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, American Legion Post No. 133 and VFW Post No. 4282.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, December 15th and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday, December 16th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A parish wake will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

A funeral for 71-year-old Robert E. "Bob" Sutterer of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 16th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Kevin Fausz, CM, will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery with military graveside service by American Legion Post No. 133.

Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
