UNIONTOWN, Mo. -- Paul H. Theiss, 89, of Uniontown died Monday, June 13, 2011, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born Aug. 7, 1921, in Wittenberg, Mo., son of Paul Ehegott and Clara Magdalena Hilpert Theiss. He and Helen M. Lohmann were married June 14, 1953...

A funeral will be held Thursday, June 16th, 2011 for 89-year-old Paul Theiss of Uniontown, who died Monday, June 13th, 2011 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born August 7th, 1921 in Wittenberg, the son of Paul and Clara (Hilpert) Theiss. They preceded him in death.
He married Helen Lohmann June 14th, 1953. She survives in Cape Girardeau.
Other survivors include a son and daughter-in law, Virgil and Barbara Theiss of Cape Girardeau; a daughter and son-in-law, Eldeen and Scott Rose of Findlay, OH; three grandsons, William Paul Rose and Derek Rose and Matthew Theiss and a host of nieces and nephews.
Three brothers, Gilbert, Rev. Harry and Rev. Louis Theiss preceded him in death.
He was a retired farmer, and a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown where he served as Elder for six years and Treasurer for six years.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 15th, and from 6:30-8 a.m. Thursday, June 16th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 89-year-old Paul Theiss of Uniontown will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 16th, 2011 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown. The Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate.
