Thompson, Dorothy Lee (nee Davenport)
Dorothy Lee Thompson, 87, of Allenville died Friday, March 21, 2008, at home.
She was born Dec. 28, 1920, at Gravelhill, Mo., daughter of John and Eula Proffer Davenport. She and Harry Alexander Thompson were married June 28, 1941. He died April 8, 1973.
Thompson was a member of Allenville Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Harry Lee Thompson of Jackson, Phil S. Thompson and Bobby G. Thompson, both of Allenville; three daughters, Louise Hess of Chaffee, Betty Cook of Allenville, Janet Pender of Delta; a brother, Floyd Davenport of Page, Ariz., a sister, Daisy Weinkind of Morgan, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a grandson.
Friends may call at 4 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee, Mo.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Shoemaker officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
