PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Lester Thompson, 82, of Perryville died Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Miller Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial service will be held later for 82-year-old Lester R. Thompson of Perryville, who died January 5, 2015 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born February 6, 1932 in Yount, the son of Leo Prevallet Thompson and Ruth Ann Harris Thompson who preceded him in death.
He married Dwala Francine Northcutt June 23, 1966 in St. Charles. She survives in Perryville.
He is also survived by a sister: Ruth Ann Dodds of Perryville
He was also preceded in death by seven brothers, and three sisters.
He was a self-employed wood hauler; he also worked for the post office in St. Peters, as well as St. Louis Army Ammunition Plant "Chevrolet Shell" in St. Louis.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
