Trachsel, Della May (nee Piper)
JACKSON - Mrs. Della May Trachsel, wife of Wm. Trachsel, 1020 Cape road,
died at a Cape Girardeau hospital Thursday afternoon. She was 66 years old, and was
admitted to the hospital last Saturday.
Mrs. Trachsel was born Oct. 25, 1898 at Lutesville, and was the daughter of Herman H. and
Eliza Long Piper.
The family moved here when she was a young girl and she attended schools in Jackson.
On Sept. 11, 1927, she was married to Mr. Trachsel in St. Louis.
She is survived by her husband; a daugher, Mrs. Lorton (Evelyn) Jackels, St.Louis; a
brother, Miles Piper, Cape Girardeau, and three grandchildren.
The body is at the Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home where services will be held Sunday
afternoon at 2.
The Rev. H. Thomas Foley will officiate and burial will be in Russelll Heights Cemetery.
