Trapp, Naomi B. (nee Ochs)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Naomi B. Trapp, 86, of Perryville died Sunday, March 9, 2008, at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
She was born Jan. 14, 1922, at Friedenburg, Mo., daughter of Ernst and Irma Dambach Ochs. She and John S. Trapp were married Feb. 3, 1946. He died Dec. 17, 1982.
Trapp worked at International Shoe Co. many years. She also was a nurse's aide at Perry County Nursing Home. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid, Chancel Guild, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, VFW Auxiliary Post 4282 and American Legion Auxiliary Post 133.
Survivors include a son, John Trapp of Perryville; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

A funeral will be held Wednesday, March 12th, 2008 for 86-year-old Naomi B. Trapp of Perryville, who died Sunday, March 9th at the Independence Care Center of Perryville.
She was born January 14th, 1922 in Friedenburg, the daughter of Ernst and Irma (Dambach) Ochs, who both preceded her in death.
She married John S. Trapp on February 3rd, 1946. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son and daughter in law, John and Sharon Trapp of Perryville; a sister in law, Katherine Ochs of the Lake of the Ozarks; three grandchildren, Craig, Amy and Mark Trapp; and a great grandchild, Madelyn.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Ochs.
She was employed at the International Shoe Company for years and was a nurse's aide at the Perry County Nursing Home.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, Ladies Aid, Chancel Guild, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, VFW Post No. 4282 Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Post No. 133 Auxiliary.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 11th and 6:30-8:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 12th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
