Trentham, Robert Carl
PATTON, Mo. -- The Rev. Robert "Bobby" C. Trentham, 65, of Patton died Saturday, April 5, 2003, at his residence.
He was born March 12, 1938, in Advance, Mo., son of the Rev. Carl and Sarah Douglas Trentham. He and Carolyn Berry were married June 11, 1960, at New Hope Church in Cascade, Mo.
He was ordained as a minister in July 1956 and had pastored several churches in Southeast Missouri. He retired from Chevrolet in St. Louis and attended Haynes Chapel Church.
Survivors include his wife; three children, Mark Trentham of Patton, Robin White of Jackson and Carol Ann DeSpain of Cape Girardeau; his mother of Patton; a sister, Mary Ann Cummings of Ball Ground, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Dr. John Englehart and the Rev. Robert Browning officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill, Mo.
