Troutt, Vera Clair (nee Bohnenkamp)
Vera Clair Troutt, wife of David Troutt, and daughter of the late William J. and Minnie Sites Bohnenkamp, passed away in St. Louis County, MO., Tuesday Nov. 7, 1978 at the age of 64 years.
Mrs. Troutt was born Oct. 29, 1914, at Bourbon, where she lived her childhood. On May 10, 1936, she was married to David Troutt at Bourbon, Missouri. Mrs. Troutt and her husband were baptized together in the Meramec River in 1936. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church of Sullivan. Since her marrige she has made her home in Sullivan. She was self-employed in the family restaurant for many years.
Surviving are; her husband David, of Sullivan; 2 daughters and
sons-in-law, Sylvia and J. Edward Condon of Ferguson, Sue and James H. Shoulders of St.
Peters; 3 brothers, Wilbur and Benjamin Bohnenkamp of Bourbon and Donald Bohnenkamp of
Aurora, Colorado; 4 grandchildren, Paul and Terry Condon and Bonnie and J.P. Shoulders,
nieces, other relatives and
friends. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Reiner.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, November 10, 1978 from the Eaton Funeral Home, with the Rev. Oliver Mullen officiating. Interment was in the Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, Missouri
