Uelsmann, Arthur
MORELY, Mo. — Arthur Uelsmann, 88, of Morley died Sunday, July 20, 2008, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 15, 1920, in Illmo, Mo., son of Herman Andrew and Regina Diebold Uelsmann. He and Cyvilla Alvina Klipfel were married Oct. 15, 1940.
He was a former employee of the Missouri Highway Department in Morley.
Uelsmann was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, Mo., and St. Joseph Sodality.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Herman Uelsmann of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation wil be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Parish prayers will follow at 7 p.m. at the chapel.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, with the Revs. John Harth and Ralph Duffner officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery, with military honors conducted by Missouri Honors Team.
