Unnerstall, Mary Hazel (nee Moore)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Mary Hazel Unnerstall, 98, of Perryville died Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be at the Mount Hope Cemetery.
Young and Sons Funeral Home Inc. in Perryville is in charge of arrangements.

A funeral will be held Tuesday, May 24th, 2011 for 98-year-old Mary Unnerstall of Perryville, who died Thursday, May 19th, 2011 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born October 25th , 1912 in Sereno, MO., the daughter of the late Albert and Gertrude (Gagnepain) Moore.
She and Herbert Jack Unnerstall were married on October 29th, 1940. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by one sister; Mary Kathryn Lorenz of Ironton, and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; Lester and Clyde Moore, and three sisters; Rita Gieringer, Dorothy Kiefer Brown and Doris Killian.
Mrs. Unnerstall held several job positions with her last being a bookkeeper at Liberty Glass. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Cursillo, Daughters of Charity and she was blessed with a very gifted memory. She was the last surviving member of her High School Graduating Class at St. Vincent. She was also the last surviving Charter member of the Rock Valley Lake Association.
Visitation will be from 9-10:20 a.m. Tuesday, May 24th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass for Mary Unnerstall of Perryville will be held at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 10:30 am. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to St. Vincent Church Endowment Fund.
