Alma L. Unterreiner, 94, of Jackson, formerly of Perryville, Missouri, died Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Jackson Manor. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A funeral will be held Monday, May 12, 2014 for 94-year-old Alma L. Unterreiner of Perryville who died May 8, 2014 at Jackson Manor in Jackson.
She was born Jan. 8, 1920 in Perry County, the daughter of Leo Unterreiner and Julia Meyer Unterreiner, who both preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son: Stan (Charlotte) Unterreiner of Pocahontas.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
She had been a service girl at Brown Shoe Company.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek, where she sang with the choir for many years. She was also a member of the Parish Ladies Organization. Alma had been a cast member for the Apple Creek Hee Haw Show for 26 years.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday, May 11 and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Monday, May 12 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral mass for 94-year-old Alma L. Unterreiner of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 12 at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Apple Creek. The Rev. Jim French will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
