A funeral was held this (Monday, April 5th, 2004) morning for 84-year-old Lonnie A. Unterreiner who died Friday, April 2nd at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 21st, 1919 in Apple Creek, the son of Anton M. and Barbara E. (Bohnert) Unterreiner, who both preceded him in death.
Survivors include: one brother, Paul Unterreiner Sr; three sisters, Wilma Buchheit, Barbara Buchheit and Theresa Moore, all of Perryville.
Two brothers, Walter and Gus Unterreiner, also preceded him in death.
He was a farmer and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Apple Creek.
A funeral mass for 84-year-old Lonnie A. Unterreiner was held this (Monday, April 5th) morning at St. Joseph Catholic Church at Apple Creek. Burial was at St. Michael's Cemetery in Apple Creek with military honors courtesy of American Legion Post No. 133, Perryville. The Rev. Anthony Datillo officiated.
