Valleroy, Alma Marie (nee Moore)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Alma Marie Valleroy, 84, formerly of Perryville, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis.
She was born March 24, 1920, in Perry County, son of Victor and Bertha C. Moore. She and Edgar M. Valleroy were married March 27, 1937. He died Aug. 18, 1978.
Valleroy was a sales clerk 38 years at Stix Baer and Fuller and at Dillard's.
Survivors include a son, Richard Valleroy of St. James, Mo.; two daughters, Betty Cherry of Troy, Mo., Diane Lammert of Florissant, Mo.; a sister, Mae Buchheit of Perryville; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons and a grandson.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30 a.m. until service time.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rick Valleroy officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
