Vogel, Alice Eldora (nee Mueller)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Alice E. Vogel, 97, of Normal, Ill., formerly of Perryville, died Nov. 25, 2013, at McLean County Nursing Home in Normal. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

A funeral will be held Monday, December 2, 2013 for 97-year-old Alice E. Vogel of Normal, Illinois who died November 25, 2013 at McLean County Nursing Home in Normal, Illinois.
She was born April 11, 1916 in Uniontown, the daughter of Theodore and Margarita (Wittschieben) Mueller who both preceded her in death.
She married Edgar H. Vogel April 2, 1935. He preceded her in death on November 23, 1997.
She is survived by two daughters: Shirley Pike of Bloomington, Illinois and Irma (Melvin T.) Sandfort of St. Charles; two sisters, Lucille Schefer of Alton, Illinois and Lorene Thompson of Perryville; five grandchildren: Dawn Clark Iseminger of Bloomington, Illinois, Sue (Will) Gaddy of Woodstock, Illinois, Judy Pike of Bloomington, Illinois, Kirk Sandfort of Perryville, Sherry (Dennis) Lindsey of Austin, Texas; six great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters: Florence Richter, Dorothy Koch, Ruth Oswald; and a son-in-law, Edwin Pile.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Concordia Ladies Aid.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Monday, December 2 at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
