Weber, Gene W.
ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Gene W. Weber, 62, of Kokomo, Indiana, formerly of Altenburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, in Kokomo. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg, with the Rev. Mike Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery..

Gene W. Weber, 62, of Kokomo, IN, formerly of Altenburg, died February 18, 2015 in Kokomo, IN. He was born March 13, 1952 in Perryville, MO, son of Leo and Dorothy (Detjen) Weber. Mother survives in Altenburg. He and Jacqueline Wirthlin were married on June 4, 1986. She survives in Kokomo, IN.
Gene had worked for Chrysler Corporation for 31 years. He was a member of the North American Hunting Club. He was Baptized and Confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg.
Other survivors include three daughters, Melissa (Gary) Rakers of St. Louis, MO, Kimberly (Erich) Klingler of Kokomo, IN, and Rachel (Todd) Hobbs in Indianapolis, IN, three brothers, Stan (Roxanna) Weber, Larry Weber all of Altenburg, Harlan Weber of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Sandy Hoffman of Cape Girardeau; and six grandchildren; Natalie Klingler, Brooke Quesenberry, Austin Rakers, Kiersten Weber, Ava Hobbs and Deegan Hobbs.
He was preceded in death by his father, one son; Chad Weber and one niece; Ashley Weber.
Visitation will be held at Young & Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg on Sunday, Feb. 22 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and on Monday, Feb. 23 from 6:30 - 8:30 am. He will then be taken to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg for service at 10:00 am with Rev. Mike Gallagher officiating. Burial in church cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to Make A Wish Foundation or Immanuel Lutheran Beautification Fund in Altenburg.
