A funeral will be held Friday, November 4th, 2011 for 83-year-old Ruben Weber of Perryville, who died Tuesday, November 1st, 2011 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born on December 26, 1927 in New Wells, MO, son of Paul and Emma (Richter) Weber. They preceded him in death.
He and Wilma Rauss were married on May 24, 1958. She survives in Perryville.
Other survivors include a son, Steven Weber of Perryville; three brothers and two sisters, Sylvia Meyer of Perryville, Lorna Steffens of Frohna, Melvin Weber of Perryville, Harlan Weber of Jackson and Richard Weber of Perryville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Meta Hoehn, Alice Leimbach; and two infant sisters.
Mr. Weber had worked at International Shoe Co. and Rozier's. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 133. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, November 3rd, and from 6:30-8:30 a.m. Friday, November 4th, at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 83-year-old Ruben Weber of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 4th, 2011 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. The Rev. Thomas Handrick will officiate.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Military graveside honors will be provided by American Legion Post 133 and the Missouri Delta Team.
Memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran School Bldg Fund or American Heart Association
