Weibrecht, Geraldine E. (nee Bergman)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Geraldine Weibrecht, 84, of Perryville died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, at the Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 28, 1922, daughter of Ernst P. and Emma Knoll Bergman. She and Wilbert J. Weibrecht were married April 24, 1948. He died Dec. 29, 1990.
Weibrecht was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, past president of the Ladies Aid and Finance Board and a member of the American Legion Post 133 Ladies Auxilliary.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Weibrecht of Carbondale, Ill.; two daughters, Linda Engert of Frohna, Mo., and Bonnie Hemman of Brazeau, Mo.; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown, Mo. The Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

A funeral will be held Monday, February 12th, 2007 for 84-year-old Geraldine Weibrecht of Perryville who died Thursday, February 8th at the Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born September 28th, 1922 in Longtown, the daughter of Ernst P. and Emma (Knoll) Bergman, who both preceded her in death.
She married Wilbert J. Weibrecht on April 24th, 1948. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son and a daughter in law: Ronald and Fran Weibrecht of Carbondale, Illinois; two daughters and sons in law: Linda and Bruce Engert of Frohna and Bonnie and Doug Hemman of Brazeau; six grandchildren: Ethan Weibrecht, Sarah Brumley and her husband, Tim; Jacquelyn Siekmann and her husband, David; Scott Engert, Garrett Hemman and Lacey Hemman.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown, past president of Ladies Aid, member of the finance board and American Legion Post No. 133 Ladies Auxiliary.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, February 11th and 6:30-8:30 a.m. Monday, February 12th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 84-year-old Geraldine Weibrecht of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 12th at the Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Saxony Lutheran High School or Zion Organ Fund.
