Weith, Lillie Florence (nee Stockdall)

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Lillie Florence Weith, 93, of Perryville died Thursday Feb. 24, 2005, at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Jan 4, 1912, in Polk County, Mo., daughter of William Thomas and Agnes Rosa Fox Stockdall. She was raised by foster parents, Charles and Georgia Rice Sowell.

She married Edward A. Weith Nov. 23, 1930. He died Jan. 14, 1980.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Perryville.

Survivors include a son, Donald Weith of Chester, Ill.; two daughters, Norma Jean Niccu of Perryville and Shirley McGraw of Hamilton, Ill.; a sister, Jane Hooker of Temple, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, four sisters and a great-granddaughter.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Young and Sons Funeral Chapel and from 6:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Christopher Cole will officiate. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 26, 2005 for 93-year-old Lillie Florence Weith of Perryville, who died Thursday, February 24, 2005 at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born January 4th, 1912 in Polk County, the daughter of William and Agnes Stockdall. They preceded her in death. Her foster parents, Charles and Georgia Sowell, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Donald and Dixie Weith of Chester, IL; two daughters and a son in law, Shirley and Frank McGraw of Hamilton, IL, and Norma Jean Niccum of Perryville; a sister, Jane Hooker of Temple, TX; 13 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers, four sisters, and a great granddaughter, Danielle.

She was a homemaker, and a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.

Visitation today (Friday, February 25th) from 4 to 8 p.m. and again Saturday, February 26th, from 6:30 to 10:55 a.m. at the Young and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Perryville.

Funeral services for 93-year-old Lillie Florence Weith of Perryville will be Saturday, February 26th, 2005 at the Young and Sons Chapel with the Reverend Christopher Cole officiating. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Memorial preferences are to Southeast Hospice.
