A funeral will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2013 for 75-year-old Maureen A. Welker of Perryville who died Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Independence Care Center in Perryville.

She was born May 21, 1938 in Ste. Genevieve the daughter of Ralph Anthony McNeece and Wilma Marie (Hunt) McNeece who both preceded her in death.

She married Harold J. Welker on May 4, 1957. He survives in Perryville.

She is also survived by her children: David (Teri) Welker of Perryville, Kenneth (Tammie) Welker of Perryville, Annette (Tom) Kettinger of Ste. Genevieve, Michael (Bonnie) Welker of Perryville; 11 grandchildren: Todd, Jamie and Ashley Welker, Lydia and Avery Welker, Jarrette and Jacob Byington, Dustin, Jessica, Joshua, and Derek Welker; four great grandchildren: Trenten, Anna, Trever, and Evelyn Welker and a sister: Sharon Winston of Arkansas City, Kansas.

She was also preceded in death by a grandson: Nicholas Byington.

She was employed as a secretary for Landmark Gas Company.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Ladies Sodality, Daughters of Isabella, Ste. Genevieve First Settlement Quilt Club, and Perryville Memory Makers Quilt Club.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, November 18 and 6:30-10:20 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

A funeral mass for 75-year-old Maureen A. Welker of Perryville will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Brad Modde will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the: "Shop with a Cop" in care of Dep. Colleen Newland or Dep. Shay Hicks at the Perry Co. Sheriff’s Office.
