PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Ruby A. Welty, 84, of Perryville died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, at her home. She was born Nov. 13, 1921, at Perryville, daughter of Theodore and Virgie Collins Weibrecht. She and LeRoy Edward Welty were married May 13, 1942. He died Nov. 18, 1998...

A funeral will be held Friday, December 16th, 2005 for Ruby A. Welty of Perryville, who died Wednesday, December 14th at her home.

She was born November 13th, 1921 in Perryville, the daughter of Theodore and Virgie (Collins) Weibrecht, who both preceded her in death.

She married LeRoy Edward Welty on May 13th, 1942. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons, Merlin Welty Sr., Michael L. Welty and Dale F. Welty, all of Perryville; two daughters and one son in law, Bonnie J. and Tim Heberlie of Crystal City and Sharon R. Boland of Perryville; three sisters, Clara Monier of Placerville, California, Myrtle Bollinger of Sedgewickville and June Blessing of Brewer; seven grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Alvin, Gilbert and Floyd; two sisters, Rosalie Schneier and Alma Weibrecht; a grandson, Danny Welty; and a granddaughter, Michelle Welty.

She was a homemaker and member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, VFW Auxiliary, Perpetual Member of the Miraculous Medal and Perpetual Member of St. Joseph League.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. this (Thursday, December 15th) evening and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Friday, December 16th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A Catholic wake will be held at 6 and a VFW wake will be held at 7:10 this (Thursday, December 15th) evening.

A funeral mass for 84-year-old Ruby A. Welty of Perryville will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, December 16th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate.

Memorials may be made to masses or the Diabetes Association.
