Williams, Margaret (nee Ault)

Margaret (AULT) WILLIAMS was born in Coshocton County, Ohio, February 20, 1843, and departed this life July 22, 1922, being at the time of her death, seventy-nine years, five months and two days of age.

She was the daughter of John and Fidelia AULT. She was one of eleven children. All have preceded her except three–Ezra AULT, Martha HILL and Elizabeth MCCORMICK, all of Missouri, and Vernie EMERY and Sarah WILLIAMS, of Bedford.

She was married to James WILLIAMS on July 25, 1861. To this union five children were born–four daughters and one son. All the children survive, and are Noah WILLIAMS and Mrs. Mary GROVES, of Koleen; Mrs. Ella HASLER, of Newberry; Mrs. Leonard EDINGTON, of Lyons, and Mrs. Sadie GEDDES, of Doans.

Her husband preceded her in death twenty-two years ago last January.

She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren.

She and her husband spent their married life in Taylor Township. Mrs. Williams was a woman who devoted herlife to the welfare of her children. She was a loving mother, a devoted wife and one who will be sadly missed by all.

She united with the Baptist church in her girlhood days, and continued to live a faithful Christian life until her death.

The funeral services were held at the New Hope Baptist church at Koleen, Rev. Quince FERGUSON, officiating.Interment in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.

We wish to thank all who kindly and willingly assisted us in the sickness and after the death of our dear mother;also wish to thank Dr. CRAVENS for his untiring efforts.
